“Minimal” Illustration series

Some people say that personal projects bring many benefits and are rewarding in many ways. They can help us release our creativity, improve our technique and execution, explore corners of our imagination that we didn’t know that existed, use our time in a fun and productive way, and the best of all: there is no pressure or deadlines.

Because of all those reasons (and because I am lucky enough to have a couple of hours a day to create things), I started this new project. Sure, there are a lot of things that, as a designer, I love to do. So, it was best to make a list of the things I wanted to do, and choose one of them, just for fun and because I really love designing in my free time :)

That is how I decided to start this Illustration series that I called “Minimal”. The idea is to explore colors, shapes and textures in the most minimalist possible way. It’s challenging because I tend to be extremely thorough and I’m always adding details to my designs.

Here are some of the things that I have done until now. The truth is that I know that they could have been more simple! Still, I’m really enjoying designing them!

I will upload more as I go creating them.
